Artist Statement (Artist/Architect)

I believe art complements what is lacking in architecture.

Architecture in our society is often based on rational thinking such as function, engineering, building costs and the objectives set by the clients and the culture.

Art is irrational. Art tends to be personal, and at the same time it has the influential energy to broaden our view of the world.

All of my photographs are an investigation into this irrational field of what we perceive as our reality.
